Race report by Jan Ratheisky
STOCK:

I used my car and setup from the Snowbirds and just change my rear springs from 2.6 up to 2.7 for a bit more on power steering. In the practice and qualifications my car worked from the first lap very good for me so I was fully concentrated to upgrade my F1 car. Unfortunately I got some bad luck in the qualification which set me 3rd on the grid which I am still very happy about.

Finals:
1:
I got a good start and was pushing to overtake my team mate Mike. Unfotunately, he made some small bad lines and I had to brake too many times which my follower didn’t expected and he crashed me out. Now I was stuck in traffic and had to overtake some guys to finally finish 4th.

2: Again I was pushing a lot on Mike. After a mistake in the shikane I was able to get the inside line for overtake but Mike close the line and I crashed out. After this I was again stuck in traffic so my race for the win was over.

3: The start was very good again and Marek got a bit wide which granted Mike to overtake him and luckily he didn’t close the line and hit my car and got back to race behind me. Now it was possible for me to be on the podium and I pushed as hard as I could. Some laps later I was able to overtake Mike and then keep a safe distance between him and me until the end of this leg to finish 1st and get the overall 3rd place.

F1:

This ETS I was very happy to see that my team mate Bruno also ran F1 and set some very fast laps in the practice which gave me a very good feeling and I tried my best to beat him and Franci who seemed to be my hardest contender this weekend.

Qualifications: The first Q Bruno was much faster than me but he made some mistakes which allowed me to set a TQ run very tight. The Q2/Q3 and Q4 my car worked much better and I was able to set in all Q´s a TQ run with a safe gap.

Finals:

F1: My car worked again better and better and I was able to set a tone to tone win.
F2: It was the same like Final 1 and I could make a safe gap between my followers and secure my overall victory in that class.
F3: I would try my car with a higher ride height for maybe better rotation but my mate Bruno was unable to start his car because of some transmitter problem, so I gave him my car for the last final. I guess the ride height change worked well as Bruno was able to win the 3rd final and secure the 2nd place on his first F1 ETS.
